Il Tornio, Varenna

I only had a few minutes to shop in here as I was on a tour. The lady that served me was so happy and helpful. She spent the time wrapping my gifts so well so that I could get them back to Australia safely. And the choice of beautiful hand made ceramics is really beautiful. The sort of ceramics that are unique and you don't see everywhere that makes this store extra special to visit. Its nice to know when buying you are supporting local people. There is all sorts of things from Christmas decorations to jewellery to lovely plates and show pieces. If I had a bigger suitcase I would have bought a lot more. Will be making sure I visit again when in Varenna.

Lovely shop selling all handmade locally (made in lecco) ceramics. Bought two items but could have easily bought more if I'd had the room in my suitcase. Will definitely be back next year
