Delve into one of the town's liveliest commercial areas at Souk El Had d'Agadir, a traditional walled market. Enter through one of the historic gates and explore the many different artisanal areas. Known primarily for its crafts, the souk packs in a large number of wooden ornaments, cooking implements, and toys, along with a selection of locally made jewelry, watches, and clothing. Feast your eyes on the colorful fruit, spice, and vegetable stalls, artfully arranged with displays of local produce. Take the opportunity to stock up on precious saffron, and remember to haggle in order to secure the best deal for what you buy. Definitely a must to see. It's massive, you can get lost walking around the place. It's a wonderful place to get into their tradition and culture. I put four stars instead of five because for me the only thing a bit tedious was the way they wanted to sell you things. They literally didn't let us go out of the shop for at least 30 minutes. Showing us EVERYTHING and offering us teas. It was intense. And negotiate! If you don't, they will charge 20/30 times more just because you're a tourist. So, don't be afraid of huggle!! Definitely recommended!

Local market where you can buy particularly everything from clothes, shoes and handbags, to cushions, blankets and rugs, you can even buy large electrical items from here, like fridge freezers and cookers, as well as all kinds of exotic spices, sweets and ingredients. Plenty of local taxis available that will happily take you there and back. Prices are high by Moroccan standards, particularly for travelers who don’t speak Arabic, but generally feel like a bargain compared to America or Europe, some stores will allow for haggling, so don't be afraid to take advantage of this. Tailors around the market can also alter garments or make them to your specifications.
