A royal complex of buildings and gardens, Bahia Palace dates back to the 1860s. The sprawling ensemble of courtyards and rooms boast ornamental flourishes all around, with intricate woodwork, stained glass, and gold decorations throughout. The harem stands as the most lavishly appointed area, in which the many wives and concubines of the resident grand vizier were once housed. • Palais Bahia is a beautiful space to see, but it's mostly just architecture and mosaics. I think there are more interesting places for this kind of think like Dar el Bacha and Madrassa Ben Youssef...

  • Very old palace and very well maintained. You will need about 3 hours to discover the place and seep in the antique beauty. Apart from the rich cultural heritage the palace also has a rose garden at the entrance. The ceilings of all the rooms are decorated in a unique manner. I would recommend it to all tourists in Marrakech. It makes a perfect spot for photography, so carry a great camera phone. Lots of mosaic work and fountains. Interesting place for Bachelor of Arts
  • It’s a place filled with history that you’ll be able to feel a creep of nostalgia as your tourist guide tells the story of the place. It’s a love story narrative so perhaps a romantic like me appreciated the depth of the place apart from it’s very commendable aesthetics. You’ll truly get a touch of Moroccan culture inside.
