Founded by a painter and developed by a fashion designer, Jardin Majorelle is a 4.8 hectare (12 acre) site in which nature and art intertwine. A striking blue villa sits at the heart of the botanical garden, filled with numerous water features and over 300 plant species from around the world. Developed over a period of 40 years by the painter Jacques Majorelle, and bought in 1980 by designer Yves Saint-Laurent, the garden includes a museum of Islamic art. There are other, bigger, better gardens in Marrakech. This one is very nice, but if you only need to chose one, I preferred the Jardin Secret

Queue wasn't too bad luckily for my experience. The interior was so pretty with the variation of plants and vibrant colors of the blue architecture fitting together with the bodies of water. Extremely aesthetic! There were also shops and a cafe inside to chill and explore. They were also informative in the stops at the buildings talking about the history of the garden.

A sweet little park to wander around. We loved seeing the cacti especially the sweet flowers. The bright blue Berber Museum building is a great photo backdrop. It’s worth visiting to see some pretty artefacts. The lily pond is sweet too. Booking is currently required online 24 hours in advance. They accept digital tickets.
