Take in the relaxing atmosphere of Menara Gardens and Pavilion, a set of botanical gardens offering locals and tourists a break from the lively activity and noise of the city. Originally created in the 12th century, the gardens wrap around a central artificial lake, which supplies water to irrigate the surrounding orchards and groves. A 19th-century pavilion stands on the shore, against the backdrop of the Atlas mountains. Stroll around the lake, taking in the pavilion from a number of angles, and explore the gardens of palms, fruit, and olive trees. Visit here when the weather is nice. Beautiful place. 50 dirham to enter the building at the far side but maybe worth it. The place is a bit far out of the old city but for sure worth at least getting a taxi to. The view is all there is to see but it is great. Plus the walk there through the olive fields is also nice.

The place is beautiful. The high atlas mountains at the background are breathtaking. My children loved feeding the fish with some leftover bread from lunch. The area is surrounded by presumably olive trees, many thousands of them. I have seen people doing picnic in the garden. A fun family place for outing. I recommend
