  • Not quite Majorelle but worth a punt if you have time. Obviously not as crowded and meticulous as Majorelle but of course lees touristy. I liked it.

  • Don't expect gardens, as Menara really is a large estate with olive groves and a water reservoir for irrigation purposes. Pleasant to walk around, though there is hardly any shade. At the entrance...

  • The place is beautiful. The high atlas mountains at the background are breathtaking. My children loved feeding the fish with some leftover bread from lunch. The area is surrounded by presumably olive trees, many thousands of them. I have seen people doing picnic in the garden. A fun family place for outing. I recommend
  • Very pleasant gardens with expansive groves. Picnic in the shade of a tree. Lots of people on Sundays including local buskers. Definitely worth paying the entrance fee to the pavilion - it's not big but take time to appreciate the architecture and views over the lake.
