Just 30 km (18.6) from Marrakesh, Ourika Valley yields an abundance of natural attractions at the foothills of the Atlas mountains. The dusty red rocks give the river a reddish hue as it flows through the valley, complementing the greens and browns of the walnut, poplar, and willow trees scattered throughout this cool area. The valley features seven waterfalls, all accessible on foot or by camelback ride up the main hill (guides will offer their services, but this hike is easy enough to do on your own).
