Museu Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon

A very nice and expansive museum. The collection has works from masters such as Degas, Renoir, Monet and more. Additionally there are impressive ancient artifacts from Egypt, the Middle East, and Asia. It's a great collection that even includes rare furniture and jewelry. What's most impressive is how the museum displays everything. Nothing is crowded. Everything has space and balance. I recommend buying the All Inclusive ticket which is 14 Euros a person so that the entire museum can be explored but there are smaller price points if you are on a budget or don't have time to see everything.

A great place to spend time in the city when it's very hot outside. Every Sunday admission is free until 14.00 (it is better to check on the official website of the museum). The museum is surrounded by a beautiful park where the ducks roam. The museum has a huge collection of exhibits. Most of all I liked the collection dedicated to oriental ceramics. There is also a huge collection of paintings, sculptures and ancient tiles.
