  • A small museum of about 4/5 rooms with presses from the 1st, 7th and 19th century’s. Was there for around half hour. Great to combine with a day to the dolomens as both free entry!

  • If you like olive oil and have an interest in the history of its production, then this place is well worth adding to your day out in Antequera. This is a small museum (in fact exhibit would be a better description) but it does have some interesting reconstructions of various local pressing methods depicting the olive oil producing heritage of the Hojiblanca region. You can complete your visit in under 30 minutes easily, but are free to take your own time. I leaned some things that I didn’t know, so for me it was time well spent. But the reason I will be coming back from time to time and telling my friends about this place was the ability to buy quality oils & vinegars at a fraction of the price in supermarkets, I left with sever bottles large and small!!
  • In Antequera, the Dcoop Oil Museum offers visitors a tour of the different stages of history through the instruments that man used to obtain oil in each of them. The purpose of the Dcoop Oil Museum is the recovery and public exhibition of the olive-growing heritage of the region where the Hojiblanca olive oil is produced. Three mills from the 1st, 17th and 19th centuries have been recovered.
