Palace of Catalan Music
Each year more than half a million people enjoy the musical performances at Palace of Catalan Music, which was placed on the World Heritage List in 1997. Designed by architect Domenech i Montaner, this exquisitely ornamented structure was built between 1905 and 1908, and originally served as home to the Orfeo Catalá musical society. Widely regarded as a masterpiece of Catalan architecture, the building is a fine example of the Modernist style, featuring elements made of tiles, stones, and bricks. Try to attend a concert, but at the very least arrange to join a guided tour of the site’s famous auditorium, known for its blue-gold stained glass skylight and the sculpture of Wagner’s Valkyries. This is definitely one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in my life. The Palau is a great venue for live music. The architecture and decoration is simply astonishing, very colorful and classic atmosphere. The sound quality is excellent, and the seating is comfortable. The stage is visible from anywhere in the hall, and the staff is very helpful and accommodating. I attended a concert here and was blown away by the performance. I look forward to attending future events at this amazing venue.

Not here for a concert but enjoyed a cup of coffee and admire the building! It is amazing! I was speechless! So much detail to discover, so many little things to appreciate! The coffee shop serves very nice coffee and meal! The shop itself also have lots to appreciate Besides the churches here in Barcelona you needed to go and see! This music hall are not to be missed!
