Create an itinerary including Plaza de Toros de Mijas
The centerpiece of a historic village, Plaza de Toros de Mijas is a remnant of Spain's past. This oval-shaped ring is a gathering place for villagers and visitors alike to witness the spectacle of the bullfight and traditional dancing. The town's second most important gathering place is the church next door, the Church of Our Lady of the Conception. The chapel stands tall over the bullring, and combined with the dusty ring is a snapshot of Spain's long heritage. When events aren't being held in the ring, you can still go inside to tour the grounds and take photos. Visit the ticket window outside the ring to inquire about event times and ticket prices. • Loved the Bullring! Got some great photos of us with the bull, holding the red cape and trying to look cool. Interesting to see all the names of the matadors from years gone by and what goes on...

  • Beautiful little whitewashed town in the mountains. Pleasant drive up. Plenty of parking options. Dotted with little cafes, stores and restaurants, this charming place has a great atmosphere. Stroll....  more

  • I’ve visited many bull arena but this has been by far the best. It’s in a small village Mijas which worth the visit it’s so Spanish. Entrance fee is €3 per person you send spend there any time you can walk behind the arena etc. The entrance is through the shop it’s a bit confusing to find.
  • I recommend to visit this place during sunset. They play spanish guitar music in the speakers, the light and the scenery are just magical. A lovely place that will transcend you into romantic latino world.
