A nice scenic way to enter Toledo over arched bridge over the Tagus. Fortified towers at either end lend authority to the setting.

Beautiful, historic and a great river walk along the might Tagus. Be sure to take the paths, rock stairs etc. that lead to the river and under the bridge itself (on city side) and along the banks in the far side. Tranquil and picturesque. Note:. There appears to be a Black Madonna on the city side tower as you cross.

Beautiful spot to enjoy a morning or an afternoon here. Only 35 min train ride from Madrid and the trip is so worth it. Highly recommend.
