Bioparc Valencia
For a change of pace from the cultural sites for which this city is renowned, visit Bioparc Valencia, an innovative and eco-friendly zoo aiming to immerse its visitors into the animals’ habitats. Skillfully combining education and conservation, this park avoids the traditional enclosures and cages common to most zoos. Instead, the park’s animal inhabitants are separated from visitors by a series of rivers, ponds, streams, and rock outcroppings. This creates an impression that wild animals roam freely around you as you explore various habitats. While on your safari-like experience, remember that touching or feeding the animals is strictly forbidden. The park also has a cafe serving light snacks and refreshing drinks. Make Bioparc Valencia part of your personalized Valencia itinerary using our Valencia route planner.

One of the best zoos in the world. You walk among the animals of Africa. Plenty of rest rooms and good places to eat on the grounds. It's worth the admission fee.

Very nice experience! Animals looking good and healthy. The installation are very clean and well kept. A lot of freedom for the animals. We liked the fact that different species are together kept as in their natural environment (co-living). Happy to visit again. Entrance price is in good relation. You can see that they take really good care of the animals ans the park. Enhorabuena, Team Bioparc!

One of the nicest zoos I've visited. The enclosures are built in such a way as to feel as natural as possible to both visitors and the animals of the park. You will hardly see any fences or cages, it all feels a lot more natural. The theme is Africa and there are only African animals in the park. The highlight has to be the fact that you can enter the lemur enclosure and have them running around you and up in the trees above you.
