The museum is marvelous. There is a video with English subtitles that covers all the history of the region and prepares you to see all the museum artifacts and exhibits in detail. Finding the museum requires Google Maps. Parking is found a short distance from the entrance. I learned an enormous amount about the Andalusia region and its rich history. It was time well spent!

A beautiful restored building home to the Museum of Vélez-Málaga. There's a short film to watch and several rooms with artefacts from the area. On Thursday evenings and some weekends there are talks, live music and kids events.
