A huuuge shopping center 🏬 might say it’s almost a signature of Sweden, have never met any Swede who never heard about it... yet 😅 It has kind of everything you might look for… and at least doubled you never thought of… or didn’t even know existed 🥴 I will praise you if you can visit and exit empty handed 😉 Today I was mostly looking for motorhome stuff 🚐… and some yummies 😋 and the pics I took are only a small selection of all they sell. I love this store! Where to start?? I will cover what I haven't seen in other reviews 1. Be there early. Preferably on a week day where hopefully the crowd will be less. We visited on a Tuesday from 3pm to 6pm and it was still crowded 2. Have a Swedish coin with you for the trolley. You can't do without a trolley. 3. Prepare to spend about 6 hours if that is your first time. 4. There was dinning inside, we ate at an buffet restaurant beside the Gekas, but we suspect the food would have been cheaper inside the Gekas. Like ikea dinning 5. There are other shops, outside and around Gekas. I.e outlet stores apart from Gekas. I visited only Panduro because I like arts and craft pieces. Prices were cheap but not a lot of options like a real panduro. Those stores might be worth visiting, which means an additional time apart from the 6hrs inside Gekas 6. There Is a hotel about 200metres from Gekas. Might be worth looking into spending the night as opposed to making it a day trip. One day just doenst seem enough to come all the way especially if it is your first time.
