Visit Keukenhof, the world's second-largest flower garden. With more than 7 million flowers in bloom every year from March to May, this is also called the Garden of Europe. The park was founded in 1949 on 15th-century hunting grounds that were developed to display Dutch and European hybrids. Discover 32 hectares (79 acres) of colorful, blossom-filled parkland. Walk through Castle Keukenhof which was built in 1641, view the traditional English landscape garden, and stroll along the pathways of the exotic Japanese garden. Because the Netherlands is known for tulips, you may expect to see many of them here, however, the only nearby tulip fields lie beyond the garden's borders and are privately owned. Put Keukenhof on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Lisse journey builder site.

  • A very nice experience. We were there in Easter '23 and it was a bit early for most of the tulips, but lots of hyacinths and narcissus were in full bloom.

  • Beautiful place! A sea of flower colors! 😍🌷🌱🌸 It's worth seeing! The park is large, with many beautiful locations. Lots of places to eat, playground, mini zoo, goats, sheep..🐑🐐🐇🐔🦆 Souvenir shops. We had a wonderful day, count on walking for 3-4.5 hours to see everything. 😁
  • Beautiful gardens perfectly manicured lawns with great floral beds such vibrancy of colours and the smell is magnificent as you walk round is so intense, the restaurant's are very clean and staffed well and incredibly helpful, the lavatories are very clean and well maintained. The pavilions are well laid out and a festival for the eyes. Definitely worth coming a glorious day out.
