This highly popular tourist destination in the Netherlands has a lot to offer with one of the highlights is to visit the original windmills. The scenic view where the iconic windmills are located is truly mesmerizing and it is one of the best spots for photography! There are over 1000 windmills in Holland and some of the windmills are still in operation and being used for drainage.

Crowded as it was high season and very touristic. But great way to explore the different types of windmills the Dutch had in the past. And score some nice souvenirs or a good cheeses in the shops. Even without entering the mills it's already nice to walk around and enjoy the views.
