10 days in Paris, Montpellier & Toulouse Itinerary

Change things up with a short trip to Palace of Versailles in Versailles (about 46 minutes away). There's lots more to do: admire the masterpieces at Louvre Museum, admire the landmark architecture of Arc de Triomphe, steep yourself in history at Eiffel Tower, and take a stroll through Montmartre.

Sao Paulo, Brazil to Paris is an approximately 15-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 4 hours traveling from Sao Paulo to Paris. Expect a bit cooler weather when traveling from Sao Paulo in April: highs in Paris hover around 18°C, while lows dip to 6°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 25th (Tue) early enough to catch the flight to Montpellier.

Kick off your visit on the 26th (Wed): stroll around Maison de la Nature and then look for all kinds of wild species at Le Parc Ornithologique de Pont de Gau. Traveling by flight from Paris to Montpellier takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Paris in April, expect Montpellier to be somewhat warmer, temps between 22°C and 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Toulouse.

On the 28th (Fri), take in the views from Le Pont Vieux (The Old Bridge), wander the streets of Cité de Carcassonne, then pause for some serene contemplation at Eglise Saint-Nazaire, and finally get engrossed in the history at Musee De L'ecole. You can drive from Montpellier to Toulouse in 2.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus. April in Toulouse sees daily highs of 21°C and lows of 9°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 30th (Sun) to allow enough time to fly back home.
