Known as the "judicial capital of the world," The Hague is the center for everything official in the Netherlands: the home of the Dutch government and parliament, the workplace of the King and Queen, and the base of many international affairs such as the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.Relax by the water at Het Strand Van Noordwijk Aan Zeedd and Scheveningen Beach. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Escher in Het Paleis (Escher in the Palace) and Frans Hals Museum. You'll find plenty of places to visit near The Hague: Haarlem (Teylers Museum, Grote Markt, &more), Leiden (Rijksmonument Jean Pesijnhofje Leiden, Museum Volkenkunde, &more) and Lisse (Keukenhof & The Flower Bulb Region). Bengaluru, India to The Hague is an approximately 14-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and car. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 4.5 hours traveling from Bengaluru to The Hague. Traveling from Bengaluru in April, expect The Hague to be much colder, temps between 15°C and 4°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Wed) early enough to take a train to Paris.
