24 days in Annecy & Chamonix Itinerary

On the 1st (Sat), snap pictures at Pont des Amours, then take in the dramatic natural features at Les Gorges du Fier, then test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, and finally take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mont Saleve. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 2nd (Sun): explore the activities along Lake Annecy, get interesting insight from Tours, and then don't miss a visit to La Vieille Ville.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Chambéry-Savoie Airport, Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport and Grenoble-Isère Airport. In April, daytime highs in Annecy are 20°C, while nighttime lows are 6°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Mon) early enough to drive to Chamonix.

Change things up with these side-trips from Chamonix: Via Ferrata de la Curalla (in Plateau d'Assy), Saint-Gervais-les-Bains (Maison Forte de Hautetour, Eglise Saint Gervais Saint Protais, &more) and Passy (Cascade de Chedde, Eglise Notre-Dame de Toute Grace, &more). On the 19th (Wed), do a day of snowy sightseeing with Les Contamines Ski Resort.
