Strasbourg — 2 nights

Crossroads of Europe
Strasbourg is famous for its beautiful historical center, the Grande Île, which was the first city center classified entirely as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Strasbourg is one of the nine largest cities in France with nearly half a million inhabitants in the metropolitan area crossing the river to the German city of Kehl, on the eastern bank of the Rhine River.Get out of town with these interesting Strasbourg side-trips: Colmar (Little Venice & Old Town) and Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg (in Orschwiller). There's much more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg, take a stroll through La Petite France, don't miss a visit to Barrage Vauban, and examine the collection at Palais de Rohan.
To find maps, other places to visit, reviews, and tourist information, refer to the Strasbourg tour itinerary maker website.
Expect a daytime high around 7°C in December, and nighttime lows around 0°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
