City of Light
A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.Get outdoors at Île de la Cité and Ile Saint-Louis. Eiffel Tower and Louvre Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get out of town with these interesting Paris side-trips: Chateau de Chamarande (in Chamarande), Chartres (La Maison Picassiette, Eglise St-Aignan, &more) and Versailles (Palace of Versailles & The Trianons & The Hamlet). Have a day of magic on the 16th (Wed) at Disneyland Paris. Have a day of magic on the 1st (Fri) at Walt Disney Studios Park. There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at Musee Rodin, ponder the world of politics at Hotel de Ville, admire the masterpieces at Musee d'Orsay, and explore the historical opulence of Chateau de Maintenon.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Paris-Orly Airport, Charles de Gaulle International Airport and Paris Beauvais Tillé Airport. In August, plan for daily highs up to 77°F, and evening lows to 57°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Sat) to allow time to travel back home.
