Paris — 21 nights

City of Light
A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Shakespeare and Company Bookstore and Galerie Univer / Colette Colla. Let the collections at Musee D'art Moderne and Adrien Kavachnina capture your imagination. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Paris: Cathedrale Saint-Pierre (in Beauvais), Le Cachot (in Senlis) and Basilica Cathedral of Saint-Denis (in Saint-Denis). Dedicate the 5th (Sat) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's lots more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Rouen, take in the exciting artwork at Sotheby's, shop like a local with L'ile Aux Images, and see the interesting displays at Fort de la Pompelle.

To see reviews, photos, more things to do, and more tourist information, you can read our Paris holiday maker tool.

If you are flying in from India, the closest major aiports are Paris-Orly Airport, Charles de Gaulle International Airport and Paris Beauvais Tillé Airport. In February, plan for daily highs up to 9°C, and evening lows to 1°C. You will have some time to spend on the 13th (Sun) before leaving for Versailles.
