Port Hueneme — 1 night

Port Hueneme is a small beach city in Ventura County, California surrounded by the city of Oxnard and the Santa Barbara Channel. On the 20th (Sat), brush up on your military savvy at Point Mugu Missile Park, then brush up on your military savvy at U.S. Navy Seabee Museum, and then walk around Port Hueneme Beach Park. On the 21st (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: enjoy the sand and surf at El Matador State Beach, immerse yourself in nature at Point Dume State Beach and Preserve, and then take in breathtaking views at Solstice Canyon.
