London — 59 nights

The Square Mile

Vibrant and noisy, London is one of the world’s leading cities, an international capital of culture, education, fashion, music, finance, trade, and politics.
You've now added Shakespeare's Globe Theatre to your itinerary. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Primrose Hill and Royal Hospital Chelsea. Get out of town with these interesting London side-trips: National Trust Stowe (in Buckingham), Fly a Spitfire - Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar (in Biggin Hill) and Oxford (Martyrs' Memorial, New College, &more). There's still lots to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Driftwood Garden, explore the historical opulence of Walmer Castle and Gardens, look for all kinds of wild species at East Sussex Falconry, and explore the different monuments and memorials at Highgate Cemetery.

To see reviews, maps, and more tourist information, use the London holiday maker website.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are London Heathrow Airport, London Gatwick Airport, London Stansted Airport, London City Airport, London Luton Airport, London St. Pancras International, Ebbsfleet International Rail Station, South Cape (Zuid-Kaap) Airport (nonexistent / spam) and Ashford International Rail Station. In June, plan for daily highs up to 68°F, and evening lows to 52°F.
