City of Light

Step out of the city life by going to Île de la Cité and Seine River. For shopping fun, head to Champs-Elysees or Saint Germain des Pres Quarter. Venture out of the city with trips to Arboretum de la Vallee-aux-Loups (in Chatenay-Malabry) and The Royal Chapel (in Versailles). And it doesn't end there: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre, steep yourself in history at Eiffel Tower, admire the striking features of Sainte-Chapelle, and appreciate the history behind Arc de Triomphe.

Hurghada, Egypt to Paris is an approximately 10.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of car and train. The time zone difference moving from Eastern European Standard Time (EET) to Central European Standard Time (CET) is minus 1 hour. Plan for colder temperatures traveling from Hurghada in July, with highs in Paris at 30°C and lows at 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Wed) so you can take a train to Amsterdam.

When traveling from Paris in August, plan for a bit cooler days in Amsterdam, with highs around 26°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sun) so you can catch the flight back home.
