Lovely beach with a mix of sand and pebbles and a cooling breeze that came off the sea. Lots of families enjoying it and the sea looked quite shallow for a long way but Life guards were on the beach.

What a surprise, 3 hours of free parking on the sea front, so great to just get out and walk along the prom and almost felt like I had gone back in time with lots of facilities and lovely flower...

Great place. Lots of food places, clean sand. Showers and toilets available. Bowling, roller coaster, live music Ice cream, restaurants, lifeguard. I recommend

Lovely gardens to walk through along the beach front. Looks like lots of new attractions being added to the pier. Good coffee at the kiosk.
