A very moving and informative museum and landscape. The museum has interactive learning facilities which teach you about the people involved around the war, and has a historical timeline from the perspective of the Jacobite and the Government. It is beautifully done, and is incredibly moving exhibit. The battlefield, Cairn, and Cottage are very well maintained, and is further supported by plates with more information. A very informative day out overall.

Whether you know the history of the battle and what led up to it, or not the visitor centre is a very informative place to visit. It is interesting and well set up. The surrounding battlefield is great to walk around. An enjoyable couple of hours spent there and highly recommended.
