Cairngorm Reindeer Centre, Aviemore

My partner and I had a wonderful time doing the the hill walk trek. It was such a fun experience! The guides were fantastic and so knowledgeable and even managed to squeeze in some comedy. As you expect from the website, the trek means you do have to walk a bit. The distance somewhat depends on where the reindeer are, they do have a lot of space to move around in so the guides go and find them in the morning before anyone gets there. When we went we did have to go up a fairly steep hill. This wasn't difficult but I am glad I had a good set of waterproof boots! The reindeer were beautiful and so docile! I can't recommend this experience enough!

Absolutely amazing experience - both times! Was great to be able to interact with the reindeer, they all have their own personality and its great to spend time with each of them. You're never rushed, we spent over an hour with the reindeer and had more than enough time to take photos, interact, and speak to our guides. The guides will also answer any questions you have, plus they will tell you the name of any reindeer that you interact with and facts about them. We were well looked after from beginning to end and felt very safe with the COVID safety measures that were in place. Amazing value for money and I would highly recommend for anyone to pay a visit ❤
