    Church in this charming small village. Carving of 8 mice in the church makes it fun to visit. But really the overall experience of this place is the quiet village away from the crowds.

    Believed to be over 800 years old this fine church stands proud in the heart of the lovely village of Halford. Came across by accident - but pleased we did as it is a well kept church. Worth a visit.....  more

    What a treasure! Beautiful Norman doorway inside the North porch. Interesting details inside too include the 12th Century chancel arch still flanked by one of what were clearing previously 2 arches filled with carved and painted imagery, with a squint beneath on one side. The church is easy walking distance from the pub car park on the main road, down a footpath at the side of the pub.
