Hatton Country World is host to two attractions: an adventure farm and a shopping village. Wander the ‘streets’ of the village, carved out of Victorian farmyard buildings. Browse independent shops selling antiques, clothes, crafts, local produce, and more. Visit the deli cafe or the Spinning Jenny restaurant to refuel before heading to Hatton adventure farm. Visit farmyard animals and enjoy indoor and outdoor children’s play areas. Kids can speed down slides, whizz across the zipline, and ride tractors. When you arrive, check the program of events for the day, which include children’s shows and falconry displays. I hadn’t been to Hatton for 10 years, I visited here a week or so ago, it was a lovely day out. My two boys had a blast, lots to do. I’d say the most memorable moment was the children/family show with the magician. He was absolutely fantastic and very funny!!!! A must see if you visit.
We were at a car event on the events field. The shopping village and restaurant/cafe was open and all the staff very friendly and helpful. My boys are a bit too old for the Adventure world, but it would surely appeal to a young family. The Escape Rooms, Swimming, or Lazer Quest would be more appealing to older children. Plenty of walks around the Hatton estate grounds and easy access to Hatton Locks too.
