  • Very busy on a sunny day. The main area is great for families, but not so great if you're searching for peace and quiet. Nice cafe if you want refreshments. Lovely meadow off the path for a bit of quiet. Plenty of paths around the park, through woodland. Even walking around the Loch you can't get away from other dogs, kids and bikes. Classic country park, I guess.
  • Looked like a great place for families and those who want to swim, paddle board, cycle etc. Diverted off route for place to relax from m6 holiday traffic and have coffee. (Too bitter for me). Hat off to the lady working in the cafe on her own, for maintaining a calm and friendly persona.
