Princess Diana once lived at Kensington Palace, a favorite residence for many of history’s best-known royal figures. The palace has its origins in a Jacobean mansion built in 1605. Redesigned in 1689 to suit the needs of the joint monarchs William and Mary, the building was turned into a monumental palace by the acclaimed architect Christopher Wren. Visit this historic site to take a look at recent decades of royal fashions, explore the grand staircases once climbed by kings, stroll through the manicured gardens, and stand under the 12,000 Swarovski crystals that make up an impressive light fixture at the center of the building. Tickets purchased online allow access to the palace, gardens, and permanent exhibits, including Fashion Rules and Victoria Revealed. Kensington Palace is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , online itinerary creator Edition.

Beautiful Palace. The designer exhibition was fascinating and seeing Diana's wedding dress was a treat. I also enjoyed the information regarding Queen Victoria's childhood home and her experience of living at Kensington Palace. The guides were very informative and made the exhibition come to life with their stories. I thoroughly enjoyed my day. So special to see where the Kings and Queens of the United Kingdom once lived and held court. Well worth a visit.

The staff is super nice. Really welcoming and very helpful. Its a lovely place to visit and the staff show a lot of respect and love for their job, they are very knowledgeable too! It is a beautiful place to visit with a lot of history. The garden is just as beautiful (even in early march when leaves were still missing on trees, the tulips and cherry blossoms were in full bloom). Definitely a relaxed and interesting visit.
