  • Decided to go on the distillery tour on a whim and booked on the day. We got lucky as normally the tours are booked up. We arrived and were in awe of the building which the distillery is based in. Gorgeous architecture and styled perfectly. The tour itself was very entertaining and informative, I learnt so much and was amazed at the history that this young distillery has discovered about itself. The £12.50 price tag is a bargain! Oh and the Whisky is delicious ;)
  • Wish I could give more than five stars. The distillery does justice to its history with beautiful and meaningful installations and little touches. A great distillery tour, which was dog friendly (mind blown!), and to top it all off the whisky is absolutely delicious despite being so young, which took me by surprise. Even the aqua vitae (a drink made as close to the monk’s whisky as possible, but that can’t be called whisky) was a delight, and we enjoyed a cocktail with our platters (you have to order this 48 hours in advance). The best day we’ve had out in Fife, do yourself a favour and visit. And go for a little walk in the ruins of the abbey afterwards.
