Drove up here whilst staying locally to walk the dogs, unfortunately we couldnt let them offlead because of the sheep grazing freely. As usual, unnecessary sheep farming ruining our countryside...

Recently took my 20 month old son for a walk and I’m not disappointed. I used to visit as a child and it is very much as lovely as it was then if not better :) we had great fun.

Lovely views. Only £3 to park for the day. Decent, well kept place to take the dogs or kids to wear them out for a few hours, or make a day of it and take a picnic if the weather's good. Great spot for flying a kite.

Best views in this area. Its a really nice place to sit and chill in nice weather, but also nice to park up and sit in the car taking in the views. £2.50 parking all day. Can get busy on warm days though.
