Brooklands Museum presents a slice of British motoring and aviation history on the site of an original 1907 motor-racing circuit. This historic site includes four heritage-listed buildings, large hangars, and preserved sections of the old racing circuit. Visit the site to see a wide range of exhibits, including race cars, motorcycles, and bicycles. Arguably the most impressive feature of the museum’s extensive collection is the Concorde G-BBDG, the first aircraft ever to carry 100 people at twice the speed of sound. The museum also owns a Vickers Vimy replica, built in America in 1994 to re-enact and commemorate the world’s first transatlantic flight. Brooklands Museum reviews
Brilliant museum with lots to see and do. The Concorde is the highlight though you pay a little bit extra. Theirs a few different museums from transport to windtunnels theirs also the track itself.

Great museum with a whole range of exhibits. Only disappointment was the F1 simulator, there where 4 volunteers helping in the morning and none in the afternoon so couldn't operate. That said, its another museum that relies on great knowledgeable people giving up their time volunteering. Will definitely be coming back as so much to see.
We've been going to Brooklands museum for a few years and recently invested in a family membership which is definitely worth doing if you think you'd visit a few times a year. You don't have to be into vehicles to enjoy the museum, if you like history, this place is fascinating. It's hard to take it all in if you have little ones in tow but they'll love the bus museum - loads if interactive displays - and going on the planes. Not all the planes are open and not all the time, that might be down to staffing, I'm not sure. Sometimes you can sit in a race car - my son got to go in Aryton Senna's car last time and you can sit in Harrier. They also have interactive displays in the Brooklands aviation hangar. The whole site is fairly buggy friendly, some of the older buildings are a squeeze when it's busy but it's not impossible. It's a big site but there are lots of places to sit down and there's a lift in the aviation hangar if accessibility is an issue for you - the ground is often uneven, so care should be taken. You're welcome to bring picnics but there is a cafe on site (it's a bit pricey but the hot meals look lovely. When there is a big event on, there's usually loads of concession stands. We went over Easter and they had the postponed New Year's event on and it was fabulous; old fashion games for kids, a live band, loads of food and drink stalls and the most amazing vintage cars all over the site. Well worth a visit if you can spend all day there, especially if you can go for a special event.
