  • Crystal Cave is interesting and worth the tour. Prices are clearly listed on their website. We had an hour wait before our tour started. They have the gift shop to explore, panning for gemstones, mini golf, picnic areas, and nature trails to walk on before or after your tour. While we waited for our time slot we ate in the picnic areas. Restrooms are in a couple locations....down by the historic inn and up the hill by the cave entrance area. The ice cream and food places were not open and in my experience the fast food is not worth it. Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic with friends and family. Mini golf is a basic course good for children but it was inexplicably closed at 3 when we finished our cave tour. Had been open before that. The cave tour lasts for about one hour including the 10 minute video before the tour. Our tour group included someone who was scared of heights so something to keep in mind. And wear shoes that have good traction as the stone steps and paths get slippery. One of the coolest parts of the tour was the few minutes of total darkness in the cave! Very disturbing if you're scared of the dark but gives you an idea of the brave people who explored this cave over a century ago.
  • It's a very good place to take your kids to look at the cave and its forms. I like the introduction video in the beginning. It's about 20 min, and explains the history of the place, and my absolutely favorite spot is the GIFT SHOP. Prices at the gift shop are a bit high, but it's worth it as souvenirs. There are no advanced purchase tickets. You've to buy them from there inside the gift shop.
