Fun place to shop and eat! It wasn't too busy but it was lively. I enjoyed my meal at the lobster place. Saw lots of other good eats too.

So many unique places are suffering vacancies but this place is full of adventure in a beautifully restored building. The location couldn't be better right next to the Hi Line and it was an easy and pleasant walk to it from our hotel at Washington Square. I would come here often if I was local and recommend it on your list of sights. There is a fantastic selection of restaurants, each with its own character and style. There is indoor and outdoor seating, a convenience store and the venue has been furnished brilliantly.

I finally made it to Chelsea Market during my most recent visit to NY, and it did not disappoint! I love finding new market places and this one literally has everything. I couldn’t post all the pictures I took, but anything you can imagine this place having, it has. There are over 20 places to eat, with all kinds of options (Jamaican, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Seafood, etc), there is something for everyone. After you eat, there is wine tasting, shopping, grocery, souvenirs, dessert, flowers, art work, etc. We ate at La Devozione and Lobster Place Seafood Market. Both were amazing! There is too much to see in one visit (we spent 3 hours there), but I had a great time and I can’t wait to return.
